DAVID HOLUBWillowtail Springs Nature Preserve and Education Center presents “We’re All Storytellers: A creative non-fiction workshop” with instructor David Holub on Saturday, May 6, 2017, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

For this workshop, each participant will submit one manuscript of no more than 10 pages to be read and critiqued by David Holub in advance. During the workshop, we will discuss the elements of what makes for successful writing in the genre, such as what makes for a good story, voice, structure, organization, conflict, tension, etc

About the instructor:

David Holub is editor and creative director for DGO, an alt-weekly Durango. A writer, performer, and former writing professor in Connecticut, David appeared at the Raven Narratives storytelling series last year as well as wrote and performed an original, autobiographical one-man show, “We Are Broken and We Are Whole.” His writing has appeared, in print or online, in The Paris Review, McSweeney’s, The Rumpus, Orion, AGNI, the Christian Science Monitor, American Book Review, and others.
