Ongoing Programs for Kids and Teens


Storytime – 10:00-11:00 a.m.
Storytime each Monday in the children’s room from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Open to children birth to 6 years old, we will share stories, sing songs, build early literacy skills, and play!

WEDNESDAYS through May 22

After-school program for kids 1st-5th grade – 4:15-5:15 p.m.
Join us each Wednesday as we explore art, science, stories, outdoor, and living skills activities at the library each Wednesday from 4:15-5:15 p.m.

FRIDAYS through May 17

Science Fridays
10-12 p.m. for 4th & 5th graders
We are excited to collaborate with The PowerHouse Science Center and Montezuma School to Farm Project to offer Science Friday classes at the library! All classes will be taught at the Mancos Public Library.

Outdoor Adventures through May 24
1:00-3:00 p.m. for kids 9-13 years old
(Space is limited. Pre-registration is required.)

Jenni is once again heading up our Outdoor Adventures program! Open to kids 9-13, this program offers kids the opportunity to explore, build, hike, create, and play outdoors.

LEGO Robotics Lab
1:00-2:00 p.m., the first and third Friday of each month

The lab is open to kids 9-14 and is capped at nine. Registration is required. Parents and guardians can enroll a child at any time until the lab is full. Permission is required. Forms are available at the circulation desk. Questions? Contact
