Ongoing Programs for Kids and Teens

TUESDAYS

Storytime – 10:30-11:30am
Storytime in English and Spanish each Tuesday in the children’s room from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Open to children birth to 6 years old, we will share stories, sing songs, build early literacy skills, and play!

WEDNESDAYS

After-school program for kids 1st-5th grade – 4:15-5:15 p.m.
Join us each Wednesday as we explore art, science, stories, outdoor, and living skills activities at the library each Wednesday from 4:15-5:15 p.m.

FRIDAYS

 

Science Fridays
10-11am for Kindergarten-3rd graders
11 a.m.-12 p.m. for 4th & 5th graders

We are excited to collaborate with The PowerHouse Science Center and Montezuma School to Farm Project to offer Science Friday classes at the library! All classes will be taught at the Mancos Public Library.

Outdoor Adventures (starts 8/31)
1:00-3:00 p.m. for kids 9-13 years old
(Space is limited. Pre-registration is required.)

Jenni is once again heading up our Outdoor Adventures program! Open to kids 9-13, this program offers kids the opportunity to explore, build, hike, create, and play outdoors.

LEGO League (starts 9/7)
1:30-2:30 p.m.

The team is open to kids 9-14 and is capped at eight team members. Pre-registration is required.

THIRD Friday of each month
Teen Game Nights from 7-10 p.m.

SATURDAYS

FIRST Saturday of each month
