“Life is an Adventure”: Iceland Saga 2017, Tuesday, 10/24, 7 p.m.

Marian and Peter Rohman will share their last-summer’s three-week exploration of Iceland. As they traveled in a small camper van through a stunning landscape of fjords, steaming vents, and waterfalls, they observed a vast array of flora and fauna, including the famous diminutive Icelandic horses.

LEAVING A LASTING LEGACY: An Estate-Planning Workshop for Agricultural Producers, Saturday, 11/4, 1-5 p.m.

Jeff Tranel, agricultural & business management economist with CSU Extension at Pueblo, will present a four-hour workshop on estate planning for agricultural producers. Tranel focuses on much more than just inheritance; he teaches participants how to engage with family members to create a legacy. “Leaving a Lasting Legacy” is the title of his publication and is the focus of the workshop.

Workshop is free, but registration is required─for planning purposes. Participants must pay for a workbook: $10 (to cover printing costs). Pay at the workshop.
