All About Renaissance Faires – Film

Faire:  An American Renaissance will be shown this Wednesday at the Library.

This film, produced by Doug Jacobson, talks about the history of American Renaissance Faires, and many other fascinating facets of Ren Faires.

Faire:  An American Renaissance was an official selection of the Oakland International Film Festival, British Film Festival and Burbank Film Festival.

MPL’s showing of this film will be on Wednesday, August 18, at 7pm in the meeting room. It runs about an hour and a half and is really an informative, quite interesting and very well done!  Free, and open to all.

The Mancos Public Library is having a teen bash for ages 13-19 on Friday, August 13th from 6-8pm at the Mancos Public Library at 211 West First St. There will be Wii games, henna tattoos by a professional henna artist, cool crafts, book talks, pizza and other snacks, and a chance to win an ipod Nano.
